SV Sunrise Rotary RISING SUN RUN 2026

The 14th Annual Rising Sun Run takes place November 7, 2026, in Sierra Vista, Arizona, featuring a half marathon (13.1 miles), 6.2-mile run, 3.1-mile run, and a half marathon option for military E-4 and below. The half marathon starts at 7:30 a.m., the 6.2-mile and 3.1-mile runs start at 8:30 a.m., and a 1-mile fun run/walk begins at 8:45 a.m. Packet pickup occurs at Huachuca Mountain Elementary School on Friday, October 31st from 5–6:30 p.m. and Saturday, November 1st starting at 6:30 a.m. Half marathon finishers receive a commemorative spinner medal and are eligible for cash prizes ($150, $100, $50 for top three overall finishers by gender); 5K finishers receive a participant ribbon. All runners receive a cool towel and race swag bag at the finish line. Age groups span from 16 and below through 66 and above. Event proceeds support vocational scholarships, Rotary youth leadership programs, and community service projects.
