Swim the Loop 2026

Swim the Loop takes place on October 11, 2026, in Wilmington, NC, featuring two open water swimming events. The main 3.5-mile swim starts and finishes at Dockside Restaurant on Airlie Road on the Wilmington side of the Intracoastal Waterway, beginning at high tide. The Motts Channel Sprint is a 1.3-mile point-to-point course starting at Trailborn Surf & Sound on Wrightsville Beach and finishing at Dockside Restaurant, also starting at high tide. Both races navigate tidal conditions throughout their courses.
