Swim the Suck 2026

The race.

Swim the Suck 2026 is a 10-mile open-water swim held October 3rd in Chattanooga, Tennessee, starting at 9:30am from Suck Creek Boat Launch. Participants may enter as solo swimmers (accompanied by a pilot) or as two-person relay teams. All swimmers must hold current USMS or USA Swimming membership, or purchase a single-day USMS membership; swimmers aged 14–17 must be USA Swimming members. Registration includes two t-shirts, two Friday dinners with pre-swim briefing at Waterhouse Pavilion on October 2nd, two post-race Saturday meals, a finisher award, and race-morning return transportation. The event supports the Tennessee River Gorge Trust.
