About the race
The race.
Tackle the Trail is a point-to-point race held October 17, 2026, in Northeast, Connecticut. Runners can compete as individuals or in relay teams of up to five people in distances of 26.2 miles, 20 miles, 13.1 miles, or 6.2 miles. Four relay stations with volunteers are positioned along the course. Individual marathon team registration is available. Race proceeds benefit local student scholarships. Participants receive race swag and prizes. The event is located approximately 45 minutes from Providence and one hour from Boston.
