Tampa Electric's Run for the Manatees 2026

Tampa Electric's Run for the Manatees takes place December 12, 2026, at the Florida Conservation and Technology Center in Apollo Beach, Florida. The event offers a 5K run and a Virtual 5K option. The in-person 5K starts at 8:00 a.m., with bib pickup beginning at 6:30 a.m. and awards presented at 9:00 a.m. to first-place male and female finishers across nine age groups (12 and under through 80+). In-person participants receive a race shirt and finisher medal; virtual participants will have these items mailed to them. Race proceeds benefit the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's manatee research program.
