Taste of Portage Half Marathon and 5K 2026

The race.

The Taste of Portage Half Marathon and 5K takes place on August 29, 2026, in Portage, Wisconsin, with both races starting and finishing at the Columbia County Administration Building (112 Edgewater Street). The course route passes community parks and the paved Levee path along the Wisconsin River. Finishers receive medals and swag, with a post-race awards ceremony and downtown block party featuring live music, food, and beverages. Race packets are available for pickup Friday night at the Taste of Portage Market Fair, which also includes live music and food vendors. On Saturday following the race, the downtown celebration continues with kid's entertainment, a classic car show, and sidewalk sales. Parking and portable restrooms are available at the start/finish location.
