Texas Strong 5k/10k 2026

The race.

The Texas Strong 5K & 10K takes place on August 15, 2026, in Pharr, TX, with the 10K starting at 6:30 PM and the 5K at 7:00 PM. Participants can choose between a 3.1-mile or 6.2-mile distance. Registration costs $30 for the 5K and $35 for the 10K. All finishers receive a custom medal and bib; event shirts are included for those who register by the July 8 deadline. Chip timing is used throughout the race, and age group awards are given for both distances across nine categories: 9 and under, 10–15, 16–20, 21–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 and over.
