The race.
The 46th Annual Swamp Rat Runs takes place on August 8, 2026, in Brewerton, NY, featuring a 1-mile Kids Fun Run, a 5K, a 10K, and a 9.3-mile race. Packet pickup and registration open at 7:00 am at the Oneida Shores Pavilion, located adjacent to the start/finish line. The 5K begins at 8:30 am and is USATF certified; all courses follow paved routes along Oneida Lake with water stations positioned throughout. Awards are presented to top male and female finishers in the 5K, plus the top three finishers in age groups spanning 14 and under through 70 and older. Leone Timing Facilities provides timing and results for all races.
