The Aden Perry Hero Event 5k 2026

The race.

This 5K run/walk takes place on December 5, 2026, at Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida, and honors Aden Perry while supporting students in need. Participants receive long-sleeved dri-wick race shirts and custom finisher medals; first, second, and third place winners in overall and age group categories receive additional medals. The course is chipped and timed. Dogs may register to run and receive finisher medals, with separate award medals for top three finishers. Bringing school supplies earns raffle entry, with donations benefiting students in need. First place overall male and female runners aged 15–19 receive college scholarships, HOKA sneakers, and Chicknlegs running shorts in honor of Ethan Lawrence. Post-race includes food, refreshments, snow cones, a volleyball game, and craft activities.
