The race.

The Auburn Mile takes place on July 4, 2026, in downtown Auburn, California. Participants can run or walk a one-mile course along the parade route, starting and finishing in the downtown square on closed streets. The event includes chip timing and a race shirt for those who register by June 1, 2026. A 150-meter option is also available. Organized by Auburn Running Company, the race welcomes participants of all ages and kicks off Auburn's Fourth of July Parade.
