The Frosty 5K 2026

The race.

The Frosty 5K takes place on Saturday, December 19, 2026, in Sarasota, Florida, starting and finishing at Twin Lakes Park. The 5K course runs on asphalt through the adjacent neighborhood. Packet pickup is available Thursday, December 17 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Gulf Breeze Apparel and Friday, December 18 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Mellow Mushroom, with additional pickup on race morning from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. The race starts at 8 a.m. All finishers receive a custom medal and long-sleeve finisher shirt (register by December 1 to guarantee size). Awards are given for overall male and female winners, youth overall (14 and under), masters through veteran grandmasters age groups, and most creative costume. Post-race food and beverages are provided. A virtual option is also available for participation December 9–31.
