The Grind, A Gravel Circuit Race 2026

The race.

The Grind is an 11-mile loop circuit race held September 26, 2026, at Riverside State Park's Seven Mile Airstrip in Nine Mile Falls, WA. Participants choose from three distances: 66 miles (6 laps, 8:30am start), 44 miles (4 laps, 9:30am start), or 22 miles (2 laps, 10:30am start). Each lap includes 577 feet of elevation gain on wide-open trails with minimal singletrack, suitable for gravel, mountain, cyclocross, and hybrid bikes. Check-in and late registration run 7:30am–10:30am on race day; entry fees are $75, $55, and $35 respectively, with a $15 late fee applied after September 1st. Finishers receive a custom pint glass, age group awards for top three placers, and finish line chili and snacks. Proceeds benefit the Riverside State Park Foundation.
