The race.
The Lake Cumberland Half & 10K takes place September 12, 2026, in Somerset, Kentucky, benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County. The 10K starts at 8:30 a.m. on Jacksboro Street in Ferguson and finishes at Somerset Community College. Participants receive a race shirt and 4-inch finisher medal. Packet pickup occurs Friday, September 11, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., or race morning from 6:00 to 6:50 a.m. at Somerset Community College. Parking is available at Somerset Community College with transportation provided to the start line. Awards go to the top 3 overall finishers and top 3 in age groups spanning 10 and under through 70 and older.
