The race.
The Lighthouse Swim is an open water swimming event held on August 30, 2026, in Sleepy Hollow, NY. Participants may choose between 2.5-mile and 3-mile swim courses across the Hudson River from Nyack to Sleepy Hollow. All swimmers must provide proof of open water experience or obtain written clearance from a lifeguard or swim coach before August 26, 2026. Safety buoys will be supplied at the event and must be worn by all participants. The three-hour time limit applies to all swimmers. Proceeds benefit Feeding Westchester and other local charities.
