The race.

The Longest Night Trail & Ultra Run takes place December 19, 2026, at Lakewood Nature Preserve in Greenville, SC. Runners choose between a 50K (21 loops) or 10K (4 loops) on a 1.5-mile grassy trail course, with each loop to be completed in 25 minutes or less. The event begins at 6:00 PM from the barn, which serves as the start/finish and hub for an aid station offering hot soup, broth, pickles, chips, candy, water, and sports drinks. Packet pickup starts at 4:30 PM. On-site setup begins at 3:00 PM, with ample space around the barn for personal crew areas, tents, and fire pits. Parking includes barn lot (first come, first served), an adjacent field lot, and roadside options.
