The Next Loop Endurance Series - Busse Woods 2026

The Next Loop Endurance Series at Busse Woods features a 3.1-mile trail loop in Elk Grove Village, IL on August 15, 2026. Runners begin a new loop each hour on the hour and may complete as many loops as desired—one loop equals 5K, two loops equal 10K, four loops equal a half marathon, nine loops equal a marathon, and ten loops equal 50K. Each loop time is officially recorded and combined for an overall score, with no penalties for stopping and no missed-cutoff failures. The course is clearly marked with a central base area start/finish and an aid station available each hour. Official timing results are provided for every completed loop, ranked by loops completed and combined time.
