The North Face Race to the Summit 2026

The race.

The North Face Race to the Summit takes place October 12, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in Stratton, Vermont. The 2.18-mile course features 2,003 feet of vertical climbing. Pre-registration costs $75; race-day registration is $99 (available 8–8:30 a.m. in The North Face Store, closing at 8:30 a.m. with no exceptions). Finishers receive a North Face t-shirt. Awards ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m. in the courtyard. Overall male and female winners receive an IKON BASE PASS (non-transferrable, no cash value). Age-group awards (1st–3rd place for males and females across eight divisions: 13 and under through 60+) include Stratton gift cards ($100, $50, and $25 respectively); overall winners are ineligible for age-group prizes. Participants may ride the gondola down after the race. Fewer than 10 entrants in a division may result in combined age groups.
