The race.
The overGRound is a free marathon and marathon relay held October 25, 2026, in Grand Rapids, MI. The 26.2-mile course starts and finishes at Veterans Memorial Park, passing through various Grand Rapids neighborhoods, parks, and cityscapes. Participants may run the full marathon individually, form relay teams with any leg configuration, or volunteer. The event welcomes all paces and provides wayfinding, aid stations, and volunteer support on course. Participants are encouraged to create custom bibs. All finishers receive a welcome at Veterans Park.
