The race.
The River Run takes place October 10, 2026, in Amherst, Wisconsin, featuring a timed 5-mile course and an untimed 2-mile course, both starting and finishing at Central Waters Brewing Co. Both courses wind through downtown and include segments along the Tomorrow River Trail; neither course is closed to traffic. Pre-registration is required, and same-day registration carries an additional fee with no guarantee of a t-shirt. All registered participants receive a commemorative t-shirt and a commemorative can of River Run beer. Funds benefit the Jensen Community Center.
