The ROC Indoor Tri 2026

The race.

The ROC Indoor Triathlon takes place on March 28, 2026, at the Louis Wolk Jewish Community Center in Rochester, NY, with the first heat starting at 1 p.m. The event features a 10-mile distance competition and a kids indoor triathlon, both conducted as timed races using sequential swim, bike, and run segments. Each segment lasts 15 minutes: swimming in a lap pool, cycling on stationary bikes, and running on treadmills, with 5-minute transitions between events. Heats contain 10 athletes with new heats starting every 20 minutes. Awards are given for overall top 3 finishers by gender, spirit of the race, age group, most-improved, and specialty categories (best swim, bike, run, transition time, and dead middle). A post-race party and awards ceremony begins at 5 p.m. at the JCC.
