The Ron Ledesma Fall Frenzy Memorial - 8 Mile or 4 Mile 2026

The race.

The Ron LeDesma Fall Frenzy Memorial takes place October 11, 2026, at Papago Park in Phoenix, Arizona, with two distance options: an 8-mile race and a 4-mile race. Both courses are road races run on paved multi-use paths and roads, with the 8-mile option consisting of two laps of the 4-mile course that includes canal stretches, urban lake loops, and elevation changes. The 8-mile race starts at 7:00 am and the 4-mile race at 7:30 am, with packet pickup from 6:15 to 7:20 am. All finishers receive a custom Fall Frenzy finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers by gender in each race, plus age group awards ranging from under 13 to 80+ years. Online registration through RunSignup closes at 6:45 am for the 8-mile and 7:00 am for the 4-mile; mail-in registration must be received by October 8. Donations to Ron LeDesma's family are available during registration.
