The Run Cabarrus Invitational 2026

The race.

The Run Cabarrus Invitational takes place October 10, 2026, at Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC. The event features a 2K race for elementary boys and girls starting at 8:30 a.m., followed by 3K races for girls (9-12 and 13-14 age groups) and boys (9-12 and 13-14 age groups) with staggered starts beginning at 8:50 a.m. High school athletes compete in separate 5K races starting at 9:45 a.m. for boys and 10:20 a.m. for girls. All races after 8:30 a.m. use a rolling start format, with subsequent races beginning 5–10 minutes after the previous race finishes. High school athletes are not eligible for the 2K or 3K races, and middle school athletes cannot enter the 2K race. Race day registration is not available.
