The race.
The Run For Your Life 5k/10k Series - The Final Stand takes place October 24, 2026, in Fairborn, OH, featuring 3.1-mile and 6.2-mile courses that conclude at Fairborn Community Park. Participants register as either Survivors or Zombies. Survivors run the course wearing flag football belts and attempt to reach the finish line with flags intact; Zombies remain in designated infected zones along the route and attempt to capture flags from passing runners. All finishers receive a medal. The event includes clearly marked infected zones where Zombies are positioned.
