The race.
The Sprouty takes place on September 12, 2026, in Sharon, Vermont, featuring a 10K, 5K, and 1-mile race along the White River. The event supports the Farm-to-School program at Sharon Elementary School. Children 12 and under run free; a kids' fun-loop requires no registration. Top three male and female finishers in each distance receive prizes. All participants receive free lettuce plants from Dandelion Acres, and registered participants age 13 and older who sign up by August 21 receive Sprouty socks. The race starts at 9 AM at 135 School Street, Sharon, VT 05065, with early arrival recommended for parking and bib pickup.
