The Trumbull Rotary Sunset 5k Run & Walk 2026

The race.

The Trumbull Rotary Sunset 5K Run & Walk takes place July 31, 2026, at Twin Brooks Park in Trumbull, Connecticut. The 5K course covers 3.11 miles with rolling hills in the first half, a net downhill second half, and a water stop at 1.7 miles. An untimed 1-mile walk is also offered. Registration fees are $35 for ages 19 and over (increasing to $37 on July 1 and $40 on July 27) and $30 for ages 18 and under. U.S. military veterans and active members run free with ID. Packet pickup is available July 30 from 5–7:30 p.m. at Trumbull Public Library or July 31 from 5 p.m. at the park. The 5K and walk start at 6:30 p.m., preceded by a free kids run at 6:15 p.m. Finishers receive a T-shirt, swag, pizza, snacks, and refreshments. Awards include men's and women's champion trophies and top-3 prizes in nine age groups. Proceeds benefit local and regional charities selected by the Rotary Club of Trumbull.
