The race.

The Village hosts its sixth annual Miles for Mamas Walk/Run on September 20, 2026, in Santa Monica, California. Participants can choose between a one-mile solidarity walk or an unofficial 5K run using a provided route map. The in-person event starts and finishes at North Street Playground on the west side of Highway 1; virtual participation is also available. All proceeds benefit new and expecting mothers with limited financial resources. Top fundraisers receive prizes at the finish line, and participants are encouraged to set individual fundraising goals and solicit sponsors.
