About the race
The race.
The YMCA Christmas Run presented by FORD takes place on December 19, 2026, in Boise, Idaho. Three distances are offered: a 1-mile Reindeer Dash starting at 10:00 a.m., and 2-mile and 6-mile runs both starting at 10:15 a.m. Packet pickup occurs on Friday, December 18th from 3–7 p.m. at Boise High School cafeteria, with the first 1,000 participants receiving Christmas Run gloves. Awards for overall, division, and costume winners are presented in the cafeteria following the races. Finishers receive bagels from Blue Sky Bagels.
