TimberRidge Adventure Race 2026

The race.

TimberRidge Adventure Race takes place September 12, 2026, in Olathe, Kansas. Participants can choose between a 2-hour trekking-only race (6–8 miles on paved and unpaved terrain, open to solo and team entries) or a 6-hour adventure race combining trekking (10 miles), biking (20+ miles), and paddling (1–2 miles). The 6-hour course uses pre-plotted topographic maps distributed at packet pickup on race morning; participants navigate checkpoints using terrain features and distance measurement. Both courses are self-supported, requiring participants to carry their own water, food, and supplies. Teams choose their own routes and can skip optional checkpoints, though completing all checkpoints with the fastest time determines winners. The 2-hour race also qualifies for the Kansas City Corporate Challenge Fall Series.
