TJ’s Tiger Trot 5K at Tanganyika 2026

The race.

TJ's Tiger Trot 5K takes place April 18, 2026, at Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Goddard, Kansas. The 3.1-mile course starts at 4:30 p.m. with a gun start and is chip timed. Packet pickup is available before race day at Fartleks Running Shop (April 15, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.) and Scheels (April 16, 1–6 p.m.), or on-site at Tanganyika starting at 3 p.m. race day. The course is marked with arrows and signage, includes a water station, and features a photographer at the finish line. Post-race food, drinks, and animal meet-and-greets are provided. T-shirts were available only to those who registered by an earlier deadline. Free parking is available at the park.
