Tom McHugh Run for the Arts 5K Run/Walk 2026

The race.

The Tom McHugh Run for the Arts 5K takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. at Waterman's Crab House & Dock Bar in Rock Hall, Maryland. A free Kiddie K Run for children 10 and under begins at 8:45 a.m. Registration costs $30 through October 3rd and $35 after that date and on race day, with on-site registration opening at 8:00 a.m. All registered participants receive tech shirts; Kiddie K finishers receive ribbons. Awards go to overall male and female winners, age-group top finishers, and top 5 male and female walkers, with the awards ceremony held immediately after the last participant finishes. Proceeds benefit the Tom McHugh Arts Scholarship Award for a Kent County High School graduating senior pursuing arts studies and the Rock Hall Elementary School Arts Program. A virtual race option allows participants to run anywhere on October 10th; virtual participants must arrange shirt pickup with the race director.
