The race.

The BRA Run, held on August 30, 2026, in Playa Del Rey, CA, features a 5K and 13K on a fully paved course adjacent to the sand. Additional distances include a 1K kids run, 12.5K, 15K, 14 miles, 17.1 miles, and 21 miles. The 13K starts at 7:30 a.m. with a 2-hour time limit, followed by the 5K at 7:50 a.m. and the kids run at approximately 9:30 a.m. An awards ceremony begins at 9:45 a.m. Registration opens at 6:15 a.m., with parking available in LA County lots ($13 cash). The event benefits Evelyn's BFF, a nonprofit supporting breast cancer survivors with counseling, reconstruction, and related expenses.
