About the race
The race.
Tough as Trails Off-Road Race Series is a three-race trail running series taking place in North Carolina across the 2026-2027 season. The series includes Eno River Run on October 25, 2026 in Durham with 6 or 11-mile options, Uwharrie Mountain Run on February 6, 2027 with 8, 20, or 40-mile options, and Mountains-to-Sea Trail Challenge on April 11, 2027 with 13-mile or 50km options. Participants must register for all three races together and complete all races to qualify for awards. Series finishers receive a custom award plus race t-shirts and finisher prizes from each individual race. Distance change requests must be submitted one month before the race date to toughastrails@gmail.com.
