The race.
TRI Clear Lake 2026 is a USA Triathlon-sanctioned sprint and Olympic distance triathlon held on August 29 in Clear Lake, Iowa. Sprint competitors swim 500 meters in Clear Lake, bike 12.5 miles on South Shore Drive, and run 3.1 miles on North Shore Drive. Olympic distance athletes swim 1,500 meters, bike 25 miles, and run 6.2 miles on the same courses. The race starts at City Beach and finishes in downtown City Park. All participants receive a finisher party with food and beverages at the lakeside finish.
