About the race

The race.

Tri-Kids-Try Youth Triathlon takes place July 17–18, 2026, at Plymouth Park in Midland, MI. The event offers multiple age divisions with varying distances: ages 6–11 swim 25 meters, bike 1.75 miles, and run 0.5 miles; ages 12–15 in the standard division swim 50 meters, bike 3.5 miles, and run 0.5 miles; open divisions feature longer distances up to 200-meter swims, 5.25-mile bike courses, and 1.5-mile runs. A Mini TKT division for ages 3–5 starts Friday at 6 p.m. with distances under a quarter-mile. All finishers receive medals. Packet pickup occurs Friday, July 17, from 5–7 p.m. and Saturday, July 18, from 7–7:45 a.m. at Plymouth Park Pool; race waves begin at 8:15 a.m. Saturday. A training camp is available July 13–17 for $175, or register for camp plus race for $205.
