Tryptophan Half/10K/5K 2026

The race.

The Tryptophan event takes place on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, in Cumming, GA, with five distance options: a 13.1-mile half marathon starting at 7:30 a.m., a 6.2-mile 10K at 7:45 a.m., a 3.1-mile 5K at 8:00 a.m., a 1-kilometer fun run at 9:00 a.m., and a virtual option available anytime. All races start and finish at Rosati's Pizza and Sports Pub, with the 5K course remaining mostly flat in that area while longer distances extend south on Peachtree Parkway. Packet pickup occurs Wednesday, November 25 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Starbucks, 435 Peachtree Parkway, or race morning at 6:30 a.m. at the start location. All finishers receive a custom race bib, medal, and long-sleeve shirt. Awards are given to overall male and female winners, masters divisions, and age groups in five-year increments from 10 and under to 75 and older, with three places per category. Virtual participants receive race packets by mail.
