The race.
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk takes place on October 17, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Participants can run or walk the 5K distance, with course markers at 0.5 miles, 1 mile, and 2 miles. Packet pickup is available October 16 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Robert A. Bogan Fire Museum, 427 Laurel Street, Baton Rouge. Day-of registration opens at 7:00 am, though participants registering that morning may not receive a t-shirt or timed results. Online registration closes October 18 at 7:45 am. Water stations are provided along the route and at the start/finish line. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted. Awards are offered, with qualifying fast runners (sub-6 minute/mile pace) eligible for front corral seeding.
