Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Columbia, SC 2026

The race.

The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk takes place September 4, 2026, in Columbia, SC, honoring first responders and those lost on September 11, 2001. Participants can run or walk the 5K distance, which is chip-timed. The event starts at 7 p.m. at Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, 1101 Lincoln Street. Packet pickup occurs Thursday, September 3rd from 4–7 p.m. and Friday, September 4th from 9 a.m.–6 p.m. at the Convention Center. Finishers receive participation medals, and registrants receive event t-shirts on a first-come, first-served basis. Awards are given in overall, master, and grand master categories. Online registration closes Friday, September 4th at 7 p.m. Parking is available in the Convention Center lot before 5:30 p.m. and in public/city garages and street parking.
