Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Fort Myers, FL 2026

The race.

The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Fort Myers takes place on September 12, 2026, and honors first responders and those lost on September 11, 2001. Participants can run or walk the 5K distance (approximately 3.1 miles). Online registration remains open through race day, with registration also available on-site starting at 7 AM; day-of registration fees are $10 higher except for first responders. Water stations will be positioned along the course and at the start/finish area. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted, as is firefighter turnout gear and military backpacks. Awards are offered, with front corral seeding available for runners predicting a pace faster than 6 minutes per mile. Proceeds benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation's "In the Line of Duty" programs supporting first responders and military.
