Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Greater Augusta, GA 2026

The race.

The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Greater Augusta honors first responders, veterans, and those lost on September 11, 2001. Participants can run or walk a 5K distance, with virtual participation also available. The event takes place September 5, 2026, in Augusta, Georgia. Packet pickup occurs Friday from 3–6 pm (location pending confirmation) and on race day starting at 7 am. Water stations are available along the course and at the finish line. Finishers receive bib numbers, which must be worn and displayed on outer garments. Awards are offered, and the event currently is not timed. Strollers, wheelchairs, firefighter turnout gear, and military backpacks are permitted. Funds raised support Tunnel to Towers Foundation programs benefiting first responders and military families.
