About the race
The race.
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Altamonte Springs honors first responders and military members. Participants can run or walk the 5K distance on September 12, 2026, with the race beginning at 7:30 AM at Cranes Roost Park, following a 9 AM September 11th ceremony. Packet pickup occurs September 9–10 at PGA TOUR SUPERSTORE (375 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs) or race morning starting at 6 AM. Online registration closes at 7:30 AM on race day, with same-day registration available via mobile Q reader. The event uses chip timing, and all participants must wear and display their race bib.
