The race.
The Tunnel to Towers Arena Climb takes place on September 13, 2026, at Virginia Credit Union Stadium (Fred Nats) in Fredericksburg, VA. Participants climb through stadium seating sections repeatedly, following aisles from Section 1 through Section 23 five times total. The event is not timed or competitive; participants climb at their own pace and may exit at any point, with bailout opportunities available at the top of each aisle. Packet pickup and t-shirt distribution occur on event day starting at 7:15 AM at Virginia Credit Union Stadium. An opening ceremony begins at 8:00 AM, with climbing to follow. Water stations and concessions are available throughout the stadium, and medics are on-site.
