Tunnel to Towers Climb - Tampa, FL 2026

The race.

On October 3, 2026, participants will climb 861 steps to the 41st floor of Tampa City Center in Tampa, Florida. Official timing concludes on the 39th floor, with two optional additional flights to the rooftop. At least three bailout floors will be available throughout the stairwell, which winds to the right and includes one hallway transition on the 39th floor. Packet pickup occurs Friday, October 2 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, or on event day starting at 7:00 AM. The opening ceremony begins at 8:00 AM, followed by climbing in this order: elite climbers, first responders and military in gear, then general participants. Water stations are stationed on bailout floors, and medics will be available throughout the event.
