The race.
Turkey Trails runs on November 28, 2026, in Shorewood, Illinois. The event offers a 50-meter kids' dash (ages 10 and under), 1-mile untimed race, 5K, 10K, and half marathon. All distances include custom bibs, designer shirts, and finisher medals. Participants receive chip timing with live results, awards, free photos, and refreshments at the finish line. Youth ages 12 and under pay $17 for the 5K and 10K. Registration deadline is midnight on the Thursday two weeks before race day to guarantee a shirt size. A virtual race option is available.
