Twin Anchors Copperhead Beer Relay 20K and Beer Mile Presented by Wicked Weed 2026

The race.

The Twin Anchors Copperhead Beer Relay 20K takes place August 22, 2026, in Hampstead, NC, at Briar Patch Hunting property north of Poplar Grove Plantation. Participants complete a 5K loop course, with the option to run the Beer Mile challenge beforehand. Before each lap, runners 21+ may consume a 12-ounce Wicked Weed beer or chocolate milk (available to all ages) in exchange for a 2-minute time deduction. Teams of 1 to 4 runners compete in relay format while carrying a baton during their legs. The 20K distance totals approximately two loops of the 5K course.
