About the race
The race.
The Unicorn 5k takes place August 1, 2026, in Highlands Ranch, CO. Participants can choose from a 3.1-mile timed 5k, a timed 3/4-mile saunter, or an untimed 3/4-mile saunter. All finishers receive a gender-specific event shirt, free cotton candy, free photo downloads, balloon animal designs, and face painting. 5k participants also earn a finisher's medal and chip timing at the finish. Teams of five or more in the 5k receive $5 off registration per person. Costumes are encouraged.
