Upper Cumberland Haunted Half Marathon 2026

The race.

The Upper Cumberland Haunted Half Marathon takes place October 24, 2026, in Cookeville, Tennessee, on a loop course starting and finishing at Tennessee Tech University. The half marathon covers 13.1 miles through downtown streets, retail areas, and residential neighborhoods on a mostly clockwise route. A three-person relay option divides the course into legs of 4 miles, 4.7 miles, and 4.4 miles. A 5K option also starts and finishes at the same location, following the first mile of the half marathon course. All participants must finish within 3 hours; the race route closes after that time and the finish line closes at 10:30 a.m. Participants must be at least 12 years old for the half marathon or 10 years old for the 5K, with a signed guardian liability form required for minors.
