The race.
The Utica Ugly Sweater 5K takes place on December 6, 2026, in New York Mills, NY. Participants can run or walk the 5K distance. Runners receive a custom long-sleeve shirt and finisher medal, while walkers receive a custom winter beanie and finisher medal. Awards are given for overall winners, age group winners, and an ugly sweater contest. A post-race party at Pizza Boys includes free food for participants and beer specials. Proceeds benefit the NY Mills HS PTSO. The race is capped at 300 participants.
