Valdosta 5K 2026

The race.

The Valdosta 5K takes place on July 4, 2026, starting at 7:30 AM at the VSU Complex parking lot (401 Baytree Road, Valdosta, GA 31602). The 5K course begins on Sustella Avenue and proceeds through Baytree Road, North Oak Street, Moore Street, Williams Street, and Mary Street before returning to the finish at the VSU Complex parking lot. Race proceeds benefit the Valdosta State University Cross Country Programs. Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to the top two finishers in each of nine age groups: 11 & under, 12–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 & over. Entry is $15 through July 3 or $20 on race day; a family discount of $45 applies to groups of four or more (parents and children 18 or under) if registered by July 3. The course closes at 8:30 AM.
