Valley of Hartford 5K Road Race 2026

The race.

The Valley of Hartford 5K Road Race takes place on July 25, 2026, in Newington, Connecticut. All proceeds from the race support the Children's Dyslexia Centers of Connecticut. The first 100 registered participants receive complimentary t-shirts, and all finishers have access to free hydration and refreshments including water, Gatorade, pastries, and fruit. Wellness services by Roba Physical Therapy—including massage, cupping, and Normatec compression boots—are available to participants. Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to first and second place finishers in age divisions spanning 9 years old through 80 and older. Race timing is professionally managed using the Trident RFID Racing System.
