The race.
The 44th Annual Verona Labor Day Classic takes place Monday, September 7, 2026, in Verona, New Jersey. A 1-mile fun run and health walk begins at 9:00 a.m. around Verona Park, followed by a 5K race at 9:30 a.m. The 5K course is USATF-certified and runs through Verona streets, starting on Lakeside Avenue and finishing in Verona Park. All proceeds benefit local charities and scholarships, with Verona UNICO covering half of each registration fee.
